It’s still hard to believe it’s here, but famous international breakfast chain IHOP officially opened in Brampton early summer this year as their very first location in the GTA.
The new location recently celebrated their first four months of Spreading Happiness in Brampton at 50 Biscayne Crescent near Steeles/Hwy. 410 (same plaza as Playdium).
Now, they’re keeping things fresh with a brand new seasonal menu to celebrate the arrival of fall.
As you’d expect from the International House of Pancakes, they’re best known for their mouth-watering world-famous buttermilk pancakes: Soft, fluffy, and made from scratch.
Their pancake dishes include Original Buttermilk, Mexican Tres Leches, Cupcake, New York Cheesecake, Double Blueberry, Strawberry Banana, and Chocolate Chocolate Chip. Pancakes are topped with your choice of syrup: Regular old-fashioned, blueberry, strawberry, or butter-pecan.
The pancakes can be enjoyed on their own or as a side to any dish from IHOP’s huge menu.
And that huge menu – which features all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner options – has gotten even bigger with new dishes from their fall seasonal menu.
Here’s a taste of what to expect at IHOP with their freshly prepared hand-crafted meals this fall:
Pumpkin Spice Pancakes: Nothing says autumn like pumpkin spice, and IHOP agrees. These fluffy buttermilk pancakes are made with real pumpkin, seasonal spices, and topped with whipped cream.
Sirloin Steak Tips & Eggs: Sirloin steak tips with grilled onions and mushrooms. Served with two eggs, golden hash browns, and two fluffy buttermilk pancakes.
Spicy Poblano Omelette: Fire-roasted Poblano peppers, red bell peppers and onions, shredded beef, Jack & Cheddar, avocado, Poblano cream, and chopped Serrano peppers.
Southwest Scramble: Fluffy scrambled eggs with Jack & Cheddar cheese blend topped with salsa and fresh avocado. Served with hash browns and your choice of toast or two buttermilk pancakes.
Chicken & Waffles: A southern classic – four crispy chicken breast strips made with all-natural chicken and house-made Belgian waffle. Served with your choice of buttermilk ranch, honey mustard or IHOP Sauce.
Chicken & Pancakes: Four crispy chicken breast strips made with all natural chicken and three fluffy buttermilk pancakes. Served with your choice of buttermilk ranch, honey mustard or IHOP Sauce.
Big Steak Omelette: An omelette stuffed with steak, hash browns, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and Cheddar cheese, served with salsa.
Other popular dishes from IHOP’s mainstay menu include the Lemon Ricotta Mixed Berry Crepe and the Pancake Combo (any two same flavored pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips or pork sausage links and hash browns).
For those looking for lunch instead, IHOP’s lunch menu features beef burgers, chicken burgers, melts and more.
IHOP’s menu is also vegetarian-friendly, with the option of vegetarian sausages and Beyond Beef for any of their burgers.
As for drinks, the restaurant offers bottomless International House
Roast Coffee, and hot tea blends such as Earl Grey, English breakfast, Hawaiian blend, and others. Specialty coffees like the Americano, Espresso, and Cappuccino are also in the works.
Meals can be enjoyed inside the restaurant or outside on the 3-season heated patio, open during spring, summer and fall.
The Brampton location is IHOP’s first in the GTA, and 14 more locations are expected to open in the coming years, so breakfast enthusiasts should be sure to keep an eye out.
IHOP started from humble beginnings back in 1958 as a single restaurant in Burbank, California. Now, 64 years later, they’re a massive franchise with locations all around the world. IHOP is a brand of Dine Brands Global, Inc., based in California, USA. Dine Brands is one of the largest full-service restaurant companies in the world.
For some of the best pancakes and all-day breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner in the GTA, a trip to IHOP is a must. The new restaurant is located at 50 Biscayne Crescent, Brampton, near Steeles/Hwy. 410.
