$650,000 worth of stolen cars heading the Ghana recovered in Mississauga

Ghana was the intended destination for these eight vehicles until Peel police recovered them in Mississauga.
Peel Police detectives from the 12 Division Auto Theft Unit have intercepted several stolen vehicles from being shipped overseas.
On Friday, June 9, 2023, Detectives executed a search warrant at a business near Drew Road and Torbram Road in Mississauga. As a result of the search warrant, the following eight vehicles were recovered:
- 2020 Mercedes GLEC
- 2021 Mercedes GBG TY
- 2021 Honda CRV
- 2020 Honda CRV
- 2021 Honda CRV
- 2020 Honda CRV
- 2020 Honda CRV
- 2021 Honda CRV
The vehicles, which were in the process of being shipped to Ghana, are worth approximately $650,000 combined.
Several have since been returned to their rightful owners.
