A Brampton resident’s lottery win is under review.

However, Roshankumar Gandhi of Brampton is one step closer to claiming the lottery prize of $62,500 with Instant Super Massive Multiplier, according to a press release from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).

Gandhi works at an authorized OLG retailer so the claim falls within OLG’s definition of an “insider win.”

He did not purchase or validate his ticket at his place of employment, OLG added.

But claims of $10,000 or more made by insiders require enhanced review and validation as well as a 30-day publication period before payment to ensure there are no additional claims on the winning ticket.

The prize will be paid to Gandhi on Feb. 10, 2024 pending no additional claims before that date.

The ticket was purchased at RAJ Kitchen Food Fair on Father Tobin Road in Brampton.
