6 of the most expensive homes sold in Mississauga in May

Although the real estate market is just starting to pick up in Mississauga, high-priced homes are selling.
This spring home prices started to go back up after a lull in the winter. Detached homes were up 3.4 per cent to $1,620,829 in May. Although, condos were actually down in price to $635,856 in May.
And it seems there is still a market for multi-million dollar homes.
Some of Mississauga’s most expensive homes sold last month come with luxury features such as large saltwater pools, wine cellars, modern kitchens and beautiful renovations.
Here are six of the most expensive homes sold in Mississauga as compiled by Zoocasa:
655 Vanessa Crescent
This four-bedroom home in Lorne Park is tucked away on a large lot with lush gardens. The home features a “chef’s kitchen”, a great room with built-in bookcases, a gas fireplace and large picture windows throughout the home.
The home sold on May 13 for $2,750,000, above the asking price of $2,699,900.

1216 April Drive
This three-bedroom home in Clarkson was fully renovated with expansive windows and an open-concept great room. The home comes with a finished basement complete with a large recreation room and gym.
The basement has a walkout to the backyard which features an outdoor fireplace, cabana and saltwater pool.
This home sold at the end of May for $2,800,000, just under the $2,849,000 list price.

Located in Applewood Acres, this four-bedroom home has plenty of space for possible multi-generational living. It comes with custom millwork throughout, and a loft space for kids accessed via a secret bookcase.
There is a nanny suite in the basement along with a home theatre, wine cellar and gym.
This home sold for $2,925,000 on May 28, just under the asking price of $2,999,000.

This four-bedroom home in Mineola West comes with large, light-filled rooms. The spacious primary bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a Juliet balcony.
The backyard has a garden and a saltwater pool. It’s also close to the hospital, highways and the upcoming LRT.
This home sold for $2,950,000 on May 25, just under the $2,999,999 list price.

This four-bedroom and four-bathroom home is in one of Mississauga’s oldest neighbourhoods in Mineola. The home has a fresh, modern look with renovation design from renowned architect David Small.

This home sold for $3,428,000 on May 10 for under the asking price of $3,648,000.
