5 people charged with multiple firearm-related offences in Mississauga

Five people are facing a total of 32 firearm-related charges after police found a loaded handgun during a traffic stop in Mississauga last week.

Peel Regional Police say, on Sunday (Oct. 6), officers from the Strategic Tactical Enforcement Policing team stopped a vehicle shortly before 12:30 a.m. near Atlantic Drive and Britannia Road.

A loaded Glock 19 firearm was reportedly discovered in the vehicle. Following the investigation, police arrested Bradley Thenor, 20, Mike-Andral Kouri, 32, Gabriella Danyi, 23, Donley Thenor, 27, and Von Hans Roc, 26—all of no fixed address.

The accused face multiple charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm, and possession of a prohibited device.

All five suspects were held for bail hearings at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
