5 of the least expensive homes sold in Mississauga last month

Finding an inexpensive home in Mississauga is a challenge but there are some lower-priced options out there.
Home prices across Canada seem to be levelling off after record highs. The Bank of Canada interest rate hikes may have impacted prices but they also made borrowing costs higher.
Sadly, a recent report found the median income ($89,000) earner in Mississauga could only afford a home that is no more than $411,373.
Unfortunately, all the homes on this list sold for more than $470,000.
Here are five of the least expensive homes sold in September as compiled by real estate brokerage Zoocasa:
12-333 Meadows Boulevard

This three-bedroom townhouse is the most expensive on the list. Located near Square One, this home comes with an unobstructed park view, bright rooms with large windows and an upgraded kitchen. There is a fireplace in the living room and a fully fenced-in backyard.
This home sold for $775,000 on Sept. 28, well over the $499,000 list price.
1911-3590 Kaneff Crescent

Located in Mississauga Valley, this three-bedroom condo underwent $100,000 in renovations. There is LED lighting throughout, brand-new stainless steel appliances and an open-concept kitchen.
This condo sold for $610,000 on Sept. 29, also well above the $499,000 list price.

This one-bedroom condo in the iconic Marylin Monroe towers, has an upgraded kitchen, glass shower, gold faucets and accents. It comes with one parking spot with a dedicated Tesla EV charger. The building has 24-hour gated security, a 45-seater private theatre, 48th-floor party room and lounge plus indoor/outdoor swimming pools and a hot tub.
This condo unit sold for $521,000 on Oct. 1, just under the $539,888 asking price.

This two-bedroom condo has an open-concept design with a balcony overlooking the pool. It comes with two parking spaces and two lockers.
This place sold for $485,000 on Sept. 24, under the $499,999 list price.

Located in the “mansion”, this one-bedroom condo has spacious rooms. The flooring was renovated and there are granite countertops and ceramic floors in the kitchen. This place comes with a locker and underground parking.
It sold for $480,000 on Sept. 29, under the asking price of $509,900.
