5 of the least expensive homes sold in Mississauga

Those looking to get into the real estate market in Mississauga may want to see some of the least expensive homes sold.
The late fall and winter tend to be slow periods in real estate.
Yet, detached homes edged up to an average of $1,564,286, up 8.65 per cent in October in Mississauga. But the average price for condo apartments declined 3.9 per cent to $626,630.
So what can a buyer get for around $500,000 in Mississauga? There are a few places out there.
Real estate brokerage and website Zoocasa has compiled a list of some of the least expensive homes sold in October.
Here are the five least expensive places sold:
1901-4889 Kimbermount Ave.
The one-bedroom condo suite in Erin Mills features a modern kitchen with granite counters, ceramic backsplash, stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar. The building has a 24-hour concierge, indoor pool, fitness room and party room.
This condo unit sold on Oct. 12 for the list price of $515,000.

311-5150 Winston Churchill Blvd.
This one-bedroom, 600-square-foot suite is in a low-rise building in Erin Mills. The unit features a good size kitchen, a spacious primary bedroom and a living room that leads out to a balcony.
This home sold on Oct. 20 for just under the asking price of $499,000 at $490,000.

141-85 Bristol Rd. E.
This two-bedroom home in stacked townhouse, north of Square One, was recently renovated. It features a spacious kitchen, open-concept living and dining room, private balcony and a four-piece semi-ensuite bathroom for the primary bedroom. There is also an outdoor pool just steps away.
This townhouse sold for $465,000 on Oct. 5, just under the $479,900 asking price.

1009-3120 Kirwin Ave.
This renovated, two-bedroom condo has more than 900 square feet of living space, just south of Square One. It boasts a centre island in the kitchen, pot lights, and a spacious living room that flows into the dining area. It also has a large balcony with views of the Toronto skyline.
This home sold for $465,000 on Oct. 27, under the $475,000 list price.

1401-4450 Tucana Court
This one-bedroom is in the Kingsbridge Grand III condominium, located near Highway 401 and 403 and the future Hazel McCallion LRT line was the least expensive place sold on this list. It features a sun-filled living and dining room area with views over Toronto and Lake Ontario. Building amenities include a concierge, security guards, system, gym, indoor pool, sundeck, sauna, hot tub, tennis court and squash court.
This home sold for the list price of $459,900 on Oct. 10.
