5 new restaurants that opened in November in Mississauga

The month of November was a busy one for restaurant owners and entrepreneurs in Mississauga.

From burgers to jerk chicken and everything in between, it goes without saying that there’s a little something for everyone.

And now, residents will have the opportunity to try even more spots that recently opened throughout the city.

So, without further ado, here are five restaurants that opened last month in Mississauga.

GC Burger

GC Burger, which was inspired by the great Canadian landscape, has opened up at 3920 Eglinton Ave. West Unit 28.

According to their social media platforms, GC Burger is “an urban burger eatery with the charm of a classic burger joint” run by self-proclaimed old-school burger connoisseurs.

Popular menu items include a variety of burgers with cheese stacked or buttered buns, chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers and a selection of sides such as regular, cajun or truffle fries for those who are feeling fancy.

Jerk Brothers

Jerk Brothers, known for serving jerk chicken and other popular menu items out of their food trucks, has opened a permanent location for take-out at 4070 Living Arts Dr. Unit #2.

Their food trucks have been featured at various festivals such as the Ajax Rotary Ribfest, Foodalicious, Pickering Village JAMFest 2022 and the Q107 Canada Day Picnic.

Sushi Shop Port Street Market

Sushi Shop Port Street Market, which already has several locations across Ontario and Quebec, has opened a new restaurant at 129 Lakeshore Rd. East. in Port Credit.

Their menu features a range of appetizers including sushi pizza sliders and monkey brain tuna and salmon, which are pieces of avocado garnished with the protein of choice.

Industria Pizzeria + Bar

Industria Pizzeria + Bar, which has multiple locations across Ontario and Quebec, recently opened a location at 80 Courtneypark Dr. E.

According to their website, the franchise is a combination between a corporate chain and an owner-operated restaurant and offers pizzas and “sfizi,” which is an Italian sharing concept.

Popular menu items include arancini, bruschetta, meatballs, pasta, pizza and more.

Dosa Boyz

Dosa Boyz, which already has one existing location in Brampton, has opened up a new location at 551 Curran Pl.

According to their social media platforms, Dosa Boyz is “a modern South Asian restaurant inspired by the beauty of traditional Indian cooking.”

Popular menu items include their variety of dosas and biryani, their “world famous” butter chicken, vegetarian curry dishes, chicken lollipops and naan.
