5 most expensive Brampton homes sold for more than $1,000,000 last month

Home sales in Brampton and across the GTA have dropped to near-record lows in the last few months of 2022, but that didn’t stop buyers from picking up some high-value real estate in the flower city last month.
Home sales dropped towards the end of the year, but the average home price in Brampton for all property types in November was still $999,631.
Here are the five most expensive homes sold in Brampton in December 2022:
5. 30 Amethyst Circ. – $1,238,500
Starting off the list is a 2,000 to 2,500-square-foot home at 30 Amethyst Circle that sold
The two-storey detached home has three bedrooms and four and a half baths, a kitchen with combined dining room, and a large family room with a fireplace. The master bedroom features a huge walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom. There is also a full “Nanny Suite” in the basement with a bedroom, full kitchen, family room, and two full bathrooms.
The home was listed for $1,299,900 and sold for $1,238,500 last month.
4. 15 Washburn Rd. – $1,275,000
Selling for $1,275,000, the next entry on the list is a 2,500-square-foot home on the east en of Brampton.
The home is located at 15 Washburn Rd. and has four bedrooms as well as a bonus room loft. The home features an open-concept livingroom and dining room, hardwood floors, and a legal two-bedroom basement suite.
The house was listed for $1,349,900 and sold for $74,000 under asking.
3. 14 Baybrook Rd. – $1,290,000
This four-bedroom home in Mayfield Park comes in at the middle of the pack, selling for $1,290,000.
With more than 2,500 square feet of living space, the home features an open-concept design in the kitchen and family room nine-foot ceilings, slate accents, and a gas fireplace. The main bedroom has its own bathroom with a soaker tub and separate shower, and the basement has a workshop, cold storage room, and an additional bedroom.
The house was listed for $1,335,000 and sold for $1,290,000.
2. 23 Tatra Cres. – $1,323,000
A two-storey, four-bedroom home in Brampton’s Snelgrove neighborhood sold last month for $1,323,000.
The main floor has an open concept and high ceilings, as well as new flooring throughout. The large family room has a fireplace for warming up on cold nights, and the kitchen has quartz countertops with stainless steel appliances.
The basement has also been renovated into a full rental suite and income property with two bedrooms.
1. 51 Banington Cres. – $1,350,000
This nearly 2,500-square-foot home on Brampton’s eastside took the top spot in December, selling for $1,350,000.
The four-bedroom home has an upgraded kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a fully finished basement, and an attached garage. The basement features a bar with granite countertops and a home theatre with elevated seating.
There’s also an outdoor pool and a large patio area, perfect for entertaining on hot summer nights.
The property previously sold for just $529,800 back in 2013.
