5 of the least expensive homes sold in June in Mississauga

Skyrocketing housing prices make many places out of reach to buy for most Mississauga residents but there are still some deals out there.
The average price of a single-family detached home in Mississauga was $1,602,425 in June, according to real estate brokerage and website Zoocasa. And while house prices are remaining steady, the benchmark price of townhouses increased to nearly $900,000 last month.
At the same time, the benchmark price of condos saw a sharp decrease of 8.2 per cent to $654,800 compared to June 2022.
But those on the hunt for a condo can find even cheaper prices, according to a list compiled by Zoocasa.
Here are five of the least expensive homes sold in Mississauga in June:
601-2900 Battleford Road
This two-bedroom Meadowvale condo has tons of natural light. It also comes with storage, in-unit laundry and a balcony. It is also close to Meadowvale Mall and transit.
This place sold for $503,100 on June 14, over the list price of $480,000.

404-3501 Glen Erin Drive
Another two-bedroom condo in Erin Mills comes with a covered, spacious balcony. It has hardwood floors and parquet flooring in the bedrooms. It also has in-suite laundry, one parking spot and a locker space. The building has an exercise room and a party room.
This place sold for $495,000 on June 8, under the asking price of $520,000.

Penthouse 03-3120 Kirwin Avenue
This penthouse corner unit is on a quiet top-level floor. It comes with two bedrooms and a large balcony. It’s near Cooksville GO Station, shopping, schools and restaurants.
It sold for $490,000 on June 2 just under the asking price of $498,800.

407-75 King Street East
This Cooksville one-bedroom condo unit features an open-concept living and dining area. The bathroom was recently renovated. The building has a pool and it is steps away from a future LRT Line stop.
This place sold for $480,000 on June 7, just under the list price of $489,900.

This place is a bachelor unit with no separate bedroom. But it comes with parking and a locker. And it has a built-in European Murphy bed. The building has a swimming pool and it’s centrally located near Square One.
This place sold for $442,000 on June 20, well above the $388,888 asking price.
