5 least expensive homes sold for under $500K in Mississauga

The five least expensive homes sold last month all went for under $500,000.
Despite several interest rate cuts, the last in October to 3.75 per cent, the real estate market remains in a lull. Experts suggest housing prices may pick up in the spring of 2025 but for now home prices are down in Mississauga.
Homes in the city are selling for well under the asking price.
Mississauga’s least expensive property type, condos, were selling at an average of $612,937 in September but savvy buyers can find lower prices.
Real estate brokerage Zoocasa compiled a list of the least expensive homes sold last month.
Here are five of the least expensive homes sold in Mississauga in October:
1711-70 Absolute Ave.
This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo is in the City Centre near Square One Shopping Centre. It is described as a modern building with an outdoor pool. It was a tenanted property.
The maintenance fees are $613 a month.
This place sold for $455,000, just under the $465,000 list price.
615-2929 Aquitaine Ave.
This two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo is in Meadowvale. It features an open-concept living space and a family-size kitchen. It’s near Meadowvale Town Centre, Lake Aquitaine and walking and biking trails.
Maintenance fees are $940.
This place sold for $455,000, under the $459,000 list price.
1005-2301 Derry Rd. W.
This three-bedroom, two-bathroom condo is in Meadowvale.
This top floor unit is in a great Meadowvale location. It has an outdoor pool, two indoor parking spaces, locker and green space.
Maintenance fees are $790.
This home sold for $439,000 under the $449,900 list price.
2210-3900 Confederation Parkway
Located near the City Centre, this one-bedroom condo is in M City. Standing at 60-storeys, the M1 condominiums offer views and green space.
This unit has an open-concept layout, nine-foot ceilings and wide-plank laminate wood flooring. There is an ensuite laundry, and 100-square-foot balcony. The building features nine elevators.
Maintenance fees are $309.
This place sold for $431,500 under the $449,800.
209-4640 Kimbermount Ave.
This central Erin Mills one-bedroom condo is near transit, shopping, the hospital and highways. This is a seniors building for those aged 65 years and up. It has 1.5 bathrooms, one underground parking spot, and a locker.
Residents can choose hospitality packages and meal packages at an additional cost.
Maintenance fees are $943 a month.
This place sold for $417,000, under the $429,500 list price.
