5 dead including 3 children after house fire in Brampton

Brampton Fire and Emergency Services are on scene for a home fire this early morning (March 28).
A house fire was reported just before 2:00 a.m. in the area of Conestoga Drive and Sutter Ave in Brampton.
LATEST UPDATE: Three children and two adult have been pronounced dead.
Two children were transported to hospital then died and one child was found dead at the home.
The ages of the children were 11, 8, and 6 years-old.
The two adults that passed away are the parents of the kids according the fire marshal.
Another adult has been transported to the hospital with serious injuries and two other adults were able to vacate the house without injury.
UPDATE:
– 2 adults and 3 children have been pronounced deceased
– 1 adult transported to trauma centre, serious injuries
– 2 other adults were able to vacate the house without physical injuries
– Media officers will be attending the scene

Fire crews are still on scene and road closures in the area include Conestoga Drive between Sandalwood Parkways East and Cranmore Ct.
Police suggest using alternative road this morning.
