New year, new house?
Now that 2023 is here and some economic uncertainty is dominating headlines, you might be hoping to purchase a home for a little less in Mississauga.
While it’s tough (if not impossible) to predict what will happen to the market this year, it’s no secret that prices are down from the highs they hit in early 2022. While it wouldn’t be accurate to say that dwellings in the city are particularly affordable (the average home price in the city sat at $1,022,312 in November 2022 and borrowing costs are steeper than before thanks to multiple interest rate hikes), there are some homes that are changing hands for less.
Real estate website and brokerage Zoocasa recently unveiled a list of homes that sold for less than $500,000.
