5 cheapest bottles of champagne at the LCBO in Ontario

Many people throughout the world will pop a bottle of champagne to ring in 2025 tonight.

It’s a common New Year’s tradition and to help with purchasing a bottle, INsauga.com has compiled a list of the five cheapest ones at the LCBO currently.

We’ve excluded small bottles like those which are 200 ml, for instance.

All champagnes are made in the Champagne region of France.

5. Duval-Leroy Brut NV Reserve – $45.40 (Sale price)

This 750 ml bottle is currently on sale for $45.40.

It normally sells for $70, meaning consumers can save $24.60.

“Duval-Leroy has been producing the Brut NV Reserve since 1859 with expertise and consistency,” the LCBO description reads.

“This classic blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay is the perfect balance between finesse and power.”

4. Champagne Moutard Grande Cuvee – $44.35

A 750 ml bottle of Champagne Moutard Grande Cuvee sells for $44.35.

The LCBO notes that the Moutard family has been growing grapes for champagne since 1642.

“Their Grande Cuvee is made from 100 per cent Pinot Noir grapes,” the description reads.

It’s suggested to serve with oysters.

3. Tarlant Brut Reserve Champagne – $44.20

“A rarity amongst its peers, Tarlant Brut Reserve offers exceptional value without sacrificing elegance or quality,” the LCBO site says.

A 750 ml bottle sells for $44.20, taking spot number three on the list.

“Its classic champagne profile pairs with shellfish,” the description notes.

2. Champagne Victoire Brut Prestige – $38.90

At number two is Champagne Victoire Brut Prestige.

It goes for $38.90 for a 750 ml bottle.

“This elegant sparkling is a well-priced entry point into the world of premium champagne,” its description says.

1. Monmarthe Secret de Famille 1er Cru Brut Champagne – $38.10

And coming in at number one is Monmarthe Secret de Famille 1er Cru Brut Champagne.

It sells for $38.10.

However, at the time of writing, the LCBO website indicated there is limited stock at its stores.
