Here are five affordable romantic weekend getaways outside of Brampton from the most expensive to the least- but we made sure they were all under $500.


5. Blue Mountain

Bayfield is a heritage village of about 1,000 people. Located on the eastern shore of Lake Huron, the small village has a lot to offer. Couples can enjoy the day at the Farmers’ Market, Bluewater Marina, the beach or at Bayfield’s trails. It also has many cute boutiques, shops and restaurants. So whether you want to enjoy the picturesque scenery or stroll down Main Street, this small village is the perfect place to celebrate your love.

3. Cobourg

Cobourg is a beach town located in Southern Ontario and home to Cobourg Beach. It also features many interesting museums, parks and a Waterfront Festival, which takes place on Canada Day. We recommend staying at a quaint spot called Breakers. Breakers is a lakeside resort that offers affordable room rates and lots of privacy. This small town definitely will fulfill your needs and fill the air with romance.

2. Huntsville

Huntsville is the largest town in the Muskoka Region. It is located on the hilly terrain of the Canadian Shield and has many beautiful lakes. We recommend staying at the Morgan House. Not only does the bed and breakfast offer affordable pricing, but it is one of the cutest spots you’ll ever stay at. Located near a number of golf courses, restaurants and hiking trails, this place has a lot to offer. It is also surrounded by water and trees to ensure you have the privacy you need. You can also take a drive down to the beautiful Algonquin Park. Talk about romance.

1. Turkey Point

Camping Accommodations Start at $25

Located by Lake Erie, Turkey Point is a village in the township of Norfolk County. It is also home to the Turkey Point Provincial Park. Couples can hike through the park, enjoy a day at the beach or play some golf. There is also a marina, zip lining and a winery near the provincial park. Couples can stop by the many great restaurants in the area. At night, couples can grab a tent or sleep in the back of their cars. It only costs around $25 to $50 to spend the night surrounding by nature. So, grab your partner and sleep under the stars at Turkey Point.
