4 new restaurants that opened in Mississauga in November 2024

Calling all foodies eager to explore new cuisines! From viral desserts to the crispiest fried chicken, here are four exciting new restaurants that opened in Mississauga in November.


Little Caesars Express

little caesars express mississaugaThe U.S. pizza chain Little Caesars opened its first express location in Mississauga on Nov. 8. It’s located at 2330 Battleford Rd., inside the Waypoint Convenience store at the Mobil gas station.

Designed for “on-the-go” dining, the express location offers a menu of pizza, Caesar wings, and crazy bread.

The express restaurant operates daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and plans are underway to open more Little Caesars Express locations at Waypoint Convenience stores in Esso and Mobil gas stations.


NeNe

NeNe Chicken, known for its authentic Korean fried chicken, is now serving customers at 4032 Confederation Pkwy. in the City Centre. The restaurant held a soft opening on Nov. 8, with grand opening celebrations on Nov. 22 and 23.

With over 1,000 locations worldwide, NeNe Chicken has been a staple of Korean cuisine since 1999. The menu features marinated, crispy fried chicken, chicken sandwiches and sides such as fries, corn cheese, fried squid and kimchi fried rice.

The restaurant also offers popular Korean dishes, including tteokbokki (rice and fish cakes in a sweet and spicy broth) and japchae (stir-fried sweet potato noodles with vegetables and meat).


Momochee’s Desserts

Located at 263 Lakeshore Rd. E., Momochee’s Desserts focuses on baked goods made from scratch, with no artificial flavours or preservatives.

Their specialty is Basque cheesecake, a crustless cake with a golden surface and a light, caramel-like flavour. Varieties include matcha red bean mochi, chocolate, and earl grey. The menu also features “monster cookies,” shortbread cookies, and espresso, coffee and matcha drinks.

The cozy café offers seating for those looking to enjoy a slice and a latte on-site.


Tanghulu Tanghulu

The dessert shop, known for its colourful skewers and cups of candied fruit, officially opened on Nov.29 at Square One in Mississauga. The concept, inspired by a traditional Chinese treat, features fresh fruit coated in a crispy sugar shell.

Located on the second level of Square One across from Ardene, the shop also offers strawberries and bananas dipped in Belgian chocolate or choco matcha.
