4 armed suspects rob Hamilton Mountain jewelry store

Four armed men robbed a jewlry store on Hamilton Mountain on Wednesday afternoon, and the police are seeking further information about the suspects.
Hamilton Police (HPS) relate that officers responded, at around 4:10 p.m. on Sept. 7, to an armed robbery of a jewelry store business in the area of Upper James St. and the LINC (Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway). There were customers and employees in the store at that time, and a gun was seen. After making off with a quantity of merchandise, they got into a dark-coloured newer-model SUV. The getaway car was last seen entering on to the Queen Elizabeth Way highway (QEW) from the LINC.
The BEAR Unit (Break and Enter, Auto Theft and Robbery) of HPS is investigating the incident. Hamilton Police did not realize photo or video that captures the suspects, but provide descriptions of all four men on Friday.
- Suspect 1: white male between 16 to 25 years old
- Suspect 2: Black male of unknown age
- Suspect 3: male, with no estimation of age or racialization
- Suspect 4: Black male, 16 to 25 years old

In similar investigations, HPS have asked motorists, homeowners and business owners who would have been in the area at the time of the robbery to check dashcam or video surveillance footage.
