A Toronto man is facing arson and other charges after a fire caused millions of dollars in damage to an industrial building in Mississauga last week.
Peel Regional Police responded to a fire on Dec. 8 at a property near Tomken Road and Meyerside Drive. Mississauga firefighters were already on the scene.
The blaze damaged the building and numerous high-end vehicles stored inside. No injuries were reported, police say.
On Friday, investigators executed a search warrant at a Toronto home and arrested a man.
Mathan Yoseph, 33, of Toronto, is charged with arson, break-and-enter, two counts of mischief over $5,000 and using explosives.
He remains in custody pending a bail hearing in Brampton court.
