3 people in hospital following two-vehicle crash in Mississauga

Three people were injured and sent to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Mississauga late Saturday night.
Peel Regional Police say they responded to the collision near Mavis Road and Father D’Souza Drive at about 11 p.m.
Police say as a result of the crash, a woman was sent to a trauma centre. The extent of her injuries was unknown at the time.
Additionally, two men were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators closed off Mavis Road, from Matheson Boulevard West to Preston Manor, for several hours.
Police provided an update via X (formerly Twitter) at about 5 a.m. this morning, noting the injuries sustained by the individuals are not life threatening.
Authorities also confirmed that the roads were reopened to motorists.
