3 major collisions closed Hwy 410 on the border of Mississauga and Brampton

Three different crashes on Highway 410 in Brampton this morning, have resulted in significant traffic delays in both directions.
On Sunday (Oct. 8) the OPP responded to multiple collisions on Highway 410 near Courtney Park Dr.
According to investigators, three lanes on the northbound side remained closed for an extended period to facilitate cleanup, particularly due to a burned-out vehicle.
Police did not mention if any occupants in the vehicles involved in the collisions sustained injuries.
At approximately 8 a.m., OPP left an update via X (formerly Twitter) that all southbound lanes were reopened, and that the closure of the three right northbound lanes were expected to continue for several hours.
As of 12:45 p.m., OPP confirmed that all lanes on Highway 410 at Courtney Park Dr. were fully reopened in both directions.
Authorities urge drivers to exercise caution during the Thanksgiving long weekend, with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) actively patrolling highways to address unsafe and aggressive driving under Operation Impact.
