There’s always something new coming to Mississauga’s amazing food scene. Here are three recently opened (or opening soon) restaurants that you might wanna try:
Gabby’s – 4096 Confederation Parkway
Starting out as a simple beer and wings joint in Toronto, Gabby’s menu has since expanded to 50+ items including premium brisket burgers, baby back ribs, beer battered fish & chips, sandwiches, stone-fired pizza and salads.
They also have a number of plates geared towards sharing, such as garlic cheese fingers, mozzarella sticks, tacos and quesadillas.
As for beer, the restaurant serves Coors, Moosehead, Molson Canadian, Guinness and more.
Monga Fried Chicken – 561 Curran Place
Monga specializes in Taiwanese-style fried chicken, one of the most popular street foods in Taiwan. They say their fresh chicken fillets are marinated with honey, dipped in batter instead of dry flours, and fried for a juicy and tender flavour.
The menu features their signature fried chicken, crispy chicken, wings, tenders, nuggets, popcorn chicken, baogers (think a burger but on a Taiwanese steamed bun), fries and other snacks, fresh juice and bubble tea.
Kibo Sushi House – Food District at Square One
Kibo, which translates from the Japanese into “hope”, is the theme and motivation behind the restaurant operators who believe that with hope, hard work will also be rewarded.
The restaurant serves traditional Japanese food such as sushi as well as seafood, soups, soups, salads, appetizers, steamed entrees, specialty rolls and sushi pizza.
