The second-biggest Lotto Max jackpot in history is up for grabs Friday night.

It sits at $75 million, which is only the second time ever the jackpot has hit that figure.

Earlier this year, the cap for the Lotto Max jackpot was raised to $80 million from $70 million.

A $75 million prize was previously offered in September, but no one won that and the jackpot was raised to $80 million — a Canadian lottery record.

The $80 million was ultimately split between two tickets — one in Ontario and the other in Quebec — in a Sept. 17 draw.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) said that an estimated 12 $1 million maxmillion prizes are also up for grabs in Friday’s draw.

The OLG noted that so far this year, nine out of the 10 Lotto Max jackpots won have been claimed in Ontario, marking $465 million in jackpot prizing for Ontario players.

Also so far this year, 62 maxmillion-winning tickets have been claimed in Ontario, marking $53 million in prizing.

If no one wins the jackpot Friday night, it will grow to $80 million for Tuesday’s draw, the OLG said.

In Ontario, Lotto Max tickets can be bought on OLG.ca or at an authorized retailer until 10:30 p.m. on the draw date.
