2 stolen vehicles recovered near Cobourg, Brampton resident charged

A Brampton resident faces charges after a traffic stop on Highway 401 near Cobourg.
Police stopped a driver on Highway 401 in Hamilton Township, near Cobourg, on Nov. 2 around 10:45 p.m., OPP said in a press release.
After the stop, two stolen vehicles were recovered, police said.
Arshdeep Singh Bandesha, 25, from Brampton is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, police said.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on Dec. 27.
