2 people in hospital following single-vehicle crash on Highway 410 in Brampton

Two people are in hospital following a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning on Highway 410 in Brampton.
OPP said in a social media post that the collision happened shortly after 11 a.m., prompting the closure of all southbound lanes on Highway 410, with traffic being diverted at Steeles Avenue.
Initially, one occupant was reported with life-threatening injuries and the other with serious injuries, though both were later reclassified as non-life-threatening.
Officials have not released additional details about the victims, including their ages or places of residence.
Cleanup efforts began in the early afternoon, with the highway expected to reopen by around 3:15 p.m.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
