2-car crash leads to careless driving charge for Mississauga motorist

Police have charged a Mississauga driver following a two-vehicle crash that led to one person being rushed to hospital.

The collision happened shortly before 8:30 a.m. on Perth Road 135 in Perth East, approximately 48 kilometres west of Kitchener.

The OPP says two vehicles crashed near the intersection of Line 42 and one person suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and police say a 59-year-old driver from Mississauga has been charged with one count of careless driving.

Police say the accused, whose name has not been released, has been issued a Provincial Offences Notice.
