Those looking to buy a home may get more bang for their buck outside of Mississauga and the GTA.

Real estate has been in a lull in Mississauga and most of the GTA.

In September, detached homes fell six per cent to $1,461,044 in Mississauga. Some sellers have lost money on home sales in the city including an over $300,000 loss.

But the prices are still out of reach for many first time home buyers so they may want to look elsewhere.
