17 year-old is dead after a car crash in Milton, Ontario

An afternoon in Milton took a devastating turn on Saturday as police and emergency services responded to a tragic accident on a rural stretch of road.

On Saturday, December 7th, 2024, at approximately 1:05 p.m., a tragic single-vehicle collision resulted in the death of a 17-year-old male driver in the Town of Milton.

The incident occurred on the 6th Nassagaweya Line when a 2005 Honda Civic travelling southbound lost control and struck a hydropole on the east side of the roadway. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext. 5065.
