A $100,000 reward is being offered by Peel Regional Police for information that leads to the identification and arrest of those responsible for two unsolved murders in Mississauga.
Police said in a news release Saturday that the first incident took place on July 8, 2019, where 24-year-old Jackline Gore was shot and killed outside a bar near Torbram Road and Drew Road in Mississauga.
The second incident, similar in nature, happened on Dec. 31, 2023, when 19-year-old Raneilia Richards was shot and killed outside an event space near Dixie Road and Eglinton Avenue in Mississauga.
Both victims were innocent bystanders, and investigators believe they were not the intended targets of the shootings.
As the one-year anniversary of Richards’ homicide approaches, investigators are once again seeking public assistance in solving the case.
Police did not specify whether both incidents involved the same suspects or if they are connected.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau at (905) 453–2121, ext. 3205. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at peelcrimestoppers.ca.
