The person holding onto a $1 million lottery ticket bought in Mississauga last year has only two weeks left to come forward and claim the big cash prize.

OLG officials said in a news release today that the outstanding Maxmillions ticket from the Friday, Oct. 14, 2022 Lotto Max draw contains the winning numbers 9, 10, 16, 22, 24, 39 and 44.

“Players must match all seven numbers to win a Maxmillions prize and have one year from the draw date to claim their prize,” OLG officials said in the release. “OLG makes sure the right prizes are paid to the right people every time.”

They added that prize ownership and eligibility is confirmed before a prize is paid out.

“If you believe you bought the winning ticket, or lost it, please be prepared to provide specific details including where and when your ticket was purchased when calling OLG Customer Care at 1-800-387-0098,” OLG officials said.

OLG lottery tickets can be checked by ticket holders in several ways:

  • scan your ticket using the OLG App
  • check winning numbers at OLG.ca or sign up to have the winning numbers emailed to you
  • call 1-866-891-8946
  • visit a lottery retail location and use the self-serve ticket checker or hand it to the retailer
