1 dead, 7 injured after 2-vehicle crash in Ontario

Cocaine and Oxycodone seized in drug dealing raid leads to charge for Brampton man

One person died and seven others were injured after a two-vehicle crash in southwestern Ontario over the weekend.

Ontario Provincial Police said that on Saturday at around 7:45 p.m., emergency crews responded to a collision at the intersection of 17th Line and 19th Line in the Township of Zorra, east of London.

Eight occupants were taken to hospital. One of them was later pronounced dead.

All of the other victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

There is no word on what may have led to the crash.

OPP said an investigation is ongoing and asked that anyone who has any information or dashcam footage come forward.
