1 adult and 2 kids seriously injured in two-vehicle crash in Brampton

An adult and two children have been seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash in Brampton on Saturday evening.
Peel Regional Police say the collision happened at the intersection of Mayfield Road and Torbram Road shortly before 5:30 p.m.
One adult and one child were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, while the second child sustained critical injuries.
Investigators have not released information about the victims including their ages, place of residence or whether the adult is male or female.
Police urged drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes while the investigation was underway. It is unclear if the roadways have since reopened to the public.
