Witnesses sought after Mississauga motorcyclist struck and killed by transport truck in Brampton

A recent, fatal collision in Brampton has police searching for witnesses who may have seen something.

The incident happened at approximately 10:19 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12 at Bovaird Dr East and Conestoga Dr, approaching Kennedy Rd.

“It is alleged that a 33-year-old man from Mississauga had been operating his motorcyclist and was travelling eastbound on Bovaird Drive behind five other motorcyclists,” said police.

At that time, a collision occurred between the motorcycle and a transport truck.

The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene and was pronounced dead. His identity has not been disclosed at this time.

Police are continuing to investigate and are looking for any witnesses who may have seen or have dash cam footage of the incident, or footage of the six motorcycles heading eastbound on Bovaird before the collision.
