Suspect at large after man stabbed in Oshawa

Police are still looking for a suspect following a reported stabbing in Oshawa.

Durham police say that shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Sunday (April 15), police on patrol in the Bruce Street and Simcoe Street South area found a 26-year-old man suffering from stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital in serious condition.

Police allege that the victim was stabbed following an altercation with another man who fled the scene before officers arrived.

The victim is now in stable condition, according to police.

The suspect is described as a Black male between 20 and 30. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured hoodie with a swoosh pattern on the front, dark-coloured track pants with a white stripe down the legs and a medical mask.
