Five suspects are still on the run after 10 people were arrested in a string of break-and-enters, including at least one Brampton break-in.

The arrests are part of Project DUSK – a months-long York Regional Police investigation into residential break-ins that started last year and has netted over 100 charges so far.

Investigators say York police officers followed three break-and-enter suspects in a vehicle on Dec. 20, with the accused leading police to Brampton.

That’s where police say three suspects committed a break-in. Two of the suspects were taken into custody while the third took off on foot and evaded arrest.

Just a few days later, police say they searched a home in Toronto where officers found an undisclosed quantity of jewelry and other personal property.

Then in January, three men and a 17-year-old teenage boy were arrested and charged after allegedly breaking into three separate residences in Toronto and Richmond Hill. Another incident in February also led to two more men being arrested and charged after break-ins at three residences in Markham and Newmarket.

A total of 10 arrests have been made with over 100 charges laid, but police are still searching for five suspects who investigators say are linked to the string of break-ins. Four of the suspects have been identified with charges pending, and police are asking members of the public to help locate the individuals or identify the unknown suspect.

Temo Monse, 39, Gela Gelashivili, 36, Giorgi Esitashvil, 36, Malkhaz Markozashvilil, 39, all of Toronto, are all wanted on warrants connected to Project DUSK. The unidentified suspect is described as a white male standing around 5’11” to 6’ with short dark hair.

Police have also released images of jewelry and other suspected stolen items recovered during the investigation in hopes that they can be returned to their rightful owners. Images of the stolen property can be viewed in a gallery at the bottom of this story.
