One person dead, body pulled from the water in Brampton

One person has been pronounced dead and police are on scene after a body was found in Brampton on Wednesday (April 13).
Just before 3:30 p.m., police said a person was found near Bovaird Drive and Torbram Road in west Brampton.
When emergency crews arrived on scene police say the person was found “in water” with “absent” vital signs.
The individual was taken to a local hospital and was pronounced dead.
No details about the victim were provided by police.
Police have not yet released details about what water the body was found in, but both Professor’s Lake and Lake of Dreams are near the area where police say the body was found.
