One of the least expensive homes sold for under $400K in Mississauga in April

As home prices increased last month in Mississauga, some buyers are finding lower-than-average prices.

There are signs the real estate market is picking up. Sales, new listings and active listings were up on a month-over-month basis in Mississauga last month.

The average price for a detached home was $1,658,217 in April, a six per cent increase compared to March. While condo apartments remained steady at $627,012.

However, five properties sold for much lower than average in April, one selling for under $400,000, according to a list from real estate brokerage Zoocasa.

Here are five of the least expensive homes sold last month:

This two-bedroom Applewood condo is the most expensive home on this list. It features an updated kitchen with plenty of storage. There is more than 800 square feet of living space, including the balcony.

This home sold for $528,500 on April 23, under the asking price of $539,000.

This penthouse, bachelor unit with 10 feet ceilings is in the Limelight Condos in the City Centre. It comes with a large balcony with unobstructed views and it’s close to Square One and highways.

This place sold for $460,000 on April 19, just under the $469,000 list price.

This two-bedroom condo in Erindale is on two levels. It features large living and dining rooms. There is new broadloom carpet throughout the main and upper levels. Plus there is a large balcony.

This place sold for $438,000 on April 17, just under the $439,800 list price.

This one-bedroom, Cooksville condo offers views and a large living room. The 647-square-foot unit has closet space plus there is an underground parking spot and a locker.

This place sold for $425,000 on April 3, under the $429,000 asking price.

This one-bedroom, Cooksville condo features brand new floors throughout, natural light and a living room with a walk out to the balcony and unobstructed views. The primary bedroom has a his-and-her closet.

This place sold for $395,000 on April 18, just under the $400,000 list price.
