If you’re looking for a place that takes coffee as seriously as you do, check out Single Bean Coffee in Oakville.
“At Single Bean, we exclusively serve single-origin coffee sourced from around the globe,” said owner Marc Anthony Atton, a 24-year-old native of Oakville. “Each cup tells a unique tale that will whisk your taste buds on a global journey.”
The entrepreneur’s goal is to redefine the coffee experience by introducing Oakville to a unique concept, an establishment reminiscent of a single malt whiskey room, but dedicated to the artistry of single-origin coffee.
“At Single Bean, coffee transcends mere refreshment. It embodies a rich tapestry of culture and artistry,” said Atton, who personally handpicks the green beans from exclusive regions, ensuring a selection of unparalleled quality.
With meticulous attention to detail, he oversees the roasting process, ensuring each batch captures the authenticity of each beans flavour profile.
“To preserve the bean’s integrity, we employ custom-calibrated grinders for each variety, guaranteeing a consistently fresh and flavorful cup.”

The coffee is ground upon ordering and roasting occurs bi-weekly to ensure freshness and peak flavour.
Single Bean Café offers six coffee beans, each chosen for exceptional quality and distinctive flavor profile, Hawaiian Kona, Jamaican Blue Mountain, Tanzanian Peaberry Ethiopian Organic Yirgacheffe, Peru Fairtrade organic decaf, and Nicaragua Jinotega FairTrade Organic.
“Coffee beans grown at higher elevations are selected for their exceptional quality and unique flavour profile. At elevated altitudes, cooler temperatures slow down the maturation process, encouraging the development of complex flavors within the beans.
“Additionally, the combination of reduced oxygen levels and increased atmospheric pressure influences nutrient absorption in the coffee cherries, resulting in denser beans with concentrated flavors.
“These factors culminate in coffees characterized by vibrant acidity, heightened sweetness, and nuanced flavor profiles, making them coveted by coffee connoisseurs worldwide.”
Many traditional coffee styles are offered, including latte, flat white, espresso, cappuccino and Americano.
And what’s a great coffee without a great bite to go along with it. Single Bean offers a variety of sweets and pastries to enjoy along with your coffee.
