Fentanyl, methamphetamine, and ecstasy bust in Thunder Bay ends with charges for accused from Brampton

Drug charges have been laid against a Brampton resident after police say they found ecstasy, fentanyl and methamphetamines in a raid in Thunder Bay.

The arrest happened on Friday when the OPP says officers searched a residence on Newberry Crescent in Thunder Bay around 2 p.m.

Police say they found “numerous suspected illicit substances” including fentanyl, methamphetamine, and ecstasy in the home along with ammunition, an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency, and “other items associated with drug trafficking.”

Investigators say a 31-year-old Brampton resident was arrested and charged with multiple offences.

The OPP says Kristan Miller, 31, of Brampton, has been charged with two counts of possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order, multiple possession charges and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
