Crews battled a fully-involved car fire early this morning in Mississauga.

Fire crews were called to the blaze in a townhouse complex on Shoreline Drive around 5 a.m. today (April 18), a spokesperson for Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services told insauga.com.

Shoreline Drive is east of Mavis Road and Dundas Street West.

There were no injuries reported but the vehicle was destroyed, the spokesperson said. Vehicles parked near the car were also damaged.

But as it was in a townhouse complex parking lot, the fire didn’t spread to any buildings.

Fire crews remained on scene as of around 7:30 a.m. as the vehicle was leaking fuel.

There is no word on the cause of the fire yet.
