Bullet casings found after suspects flee shooting in Brampton

Suspects are on the run and police are investigating following an early morning shooting in Brampton on Friday.

The shots rang out shortly before 2 a.m. with Peel Regional Police saying officers were called to Maisonneuve Boulevard and Riva Ridge Drive in the community of Tullamore, near the border with Caledon.

No injuries were reported and police have not said how many shots were fired, but investigators say multiple casings were located at the scene.

Police say the suspects fled the area in a vehicle but have not released descriptions of the shooter or the getaway vehicle.
