CAUGHT ON VIDEO: Explosion Causes Massive Power Failure in Mississauga

Peel police received a call shortly before 7:50 p.m. tonight about a light pole going out in the Hurontario Street area from Burnhamthorpe Rd. E. to Dundas St. E.
As a result, 3,259 homes are being affected by a power outage.
Peel police are currently on scene and hydro has been contacted, police say.
Residents that are being affected are expected to regain power at around 12 a.m.
We will provide more updates as they become available.
