10 popular travel spots with up to 35% airfare price drops from Ontario

With summer quickly approaching, travel is on the minds of many Ontario residents.
Canadians’ international travel searches are up 11 per cent year-over-year, according to online travel search engine Kayak.
Cost of living increases, including gas price hikes, may have some looking for cheaper options.
Those craving a getaway should note that international airfares have dropped 13 per cent year-over-year, according to Kayak.
Kayak has put together a list of 10 trending destinations for flights with price drops out of Ontario.
Here is the list of 10 destinations with airfare price drops:
- Reykjavik, Iceland – known for its dramatic landscape with volcanoes and hot springs.
- Orlando, Florida – home to Disney World, as well as water parks. A great place for a family trip.
- Hong Kong – packed with restaurants and cultural experiences, it is one of the most densely populated places in the world.
- Chicago, Illinois – known for its deep-dish pizza and bold architecture.
- Tokyo, Japan – a vibrant, modern city and the gateway to the iconic Mt. Fuji.
- New Delhi, India – the capital of India and a jumping-off point to explore tourist spots such as the Taj Mahal and Jaipur.
- Amsterdam, Netherlands – known for its artistic heritage, canals and narrow houses with gabled facades. It is also home to the Van Gogh Museum.
- Miami, Florida – said to be one of the world’s most popular vacation spots, Miami boasts a trendy nightlife and sparkling beaches.
- Barcelona, Spain – known for its art and architecture, the city is home to the fantastical Sagrada Família church and other modernist landmarks designed by Antoni Gaudí.
- Rome, Italy – the ancient city with iconic landmarks such as the colosseum, Rome is a must-see for history buffs.
